‘The Valley’ Star Janet Caperna Reveals What She Knows About Michelle Saniei’s Rumored Romance With Dr. Dre

Janet Caperna found out with the rest of the world that her co-star on The Valley, Michelle Saniei, might be dating Dr. Dre.

The Bravo universe took a breather from the Summer House drama on Tuesday afternoon (April 28) when Deuxmoi posted a photo of Saniei holding hands with the controversial rapper. Caperna, who stopped by DECIDER’s studio earlier today, said her mom was the first person to send her the pictures.

“I found out about this as I was getting on my flight [to New York City], and my mom texted me and said, ‘Why is Michelle holding hands with this Dr. Dre?'” Caperna said. “And I’m like, ‘Okay, first of all, mom, do you know who Dr. Dre is?’ I was surprised that she even knows who he is.”

Outside of what’s been floating around on the internet, Caperna said she doesn’t know much about her friend’s rumored new flame. “I need to have lunch with Michelle as soon as I’m back because I need the tea,” she said.”I got to figure it out.”

Caperna added, “I had to make sure it wasn’t one of those weird AI articles when I first saw it, because there are always those weird ones that have doctored pictures and stuff, and I was like, ‘Is that this?’ But I got to get home to Michelle and get the tea.”

Oddly enough, this wasn’t the first time Dr. Dre—who has a lengthy history of alleged violence against women—has been brought up in The Valley universe. During a past After Show episode, Scheana Shay shared that Dr. Dre was her hall pass, until she and her husband, Brock Davies, ran into him one night when they were out. “When [Davies] realized it was attainable, he revoked my hall pass,” she joked in the resurfaced clip.

As for whether anyone has checked on the former Vanderpump Rules star—a running gag that started when fans felt like she was trying to make the “Scandoval” affair about herself—Caperna promised, “I will check in on Scheana, because we love checking in on Scheana.”

Meanwhile, Saniei, 37, has yet to publicly comment on the nature of her relationship with Dr. Dre, 61, but on the Two T’s in a Pod podcast, Teddi Mellencamp revealed how Jesse Lally, Saniei’s ex-husband, with whom she shares their 6-year-old daughter Isabella, reacted to the photo.

“I couldn’t help myself but text Jesse. I said, ‘Dr. Dre?’” Mellencamp recalled. “And he was like, ‘I was wondering why Isabella got a new pair of Beats.'”
